About the Distillery
The heart of Polish distilling has been beating here since 1846
From the 19th century, Starogard Gdanski developed as an important industrial centre of Pomerania, benefiting from its convenient location on trade routes, access to agricultural facilities and a rapidly developing railway infrastructure. It was its proximity to high-quality grain, clean water and efficient logistics that made the town a natural place for the development of the spirits industry and the establishment of a distillery in 1846.
Since 1846, we have consistently focused on authenticity, drawing on the rich experience of our master distillers who have mastered the knowledge of raw material selection and filtration processes to perfection. It is here that spirits of unique character are born, combining local patriotism with a global reach.
The distillery in Starogard Gdanski is today a modern production facility belonging to Premium Distillers of the United Beverages Group - one of the largest producers and distributors of spirits in Poland.

History of the Distillery
180 years of heritage and craftsmanship
The distillery in Starogard Gdanski has been combining a long distilling tradition with modern distillation and bottling technologies for 180 years, producing tens of millions of litres of spirits and vodkas every year, which are sold both on the domestic market and abroad.
In 2022, the revitalisation of the distillery in Starogard Gdański began, during which several of the plant's buildings were renovated, including the office building, technical building, laboratory and warehouses. The facades of the buildings were also modernised and decorated with hand-burnished bricks, and a mural was created on the office building, referring to the history of the factory. At the same time, the entrance gate and the approximately one-kilometre-long fence were rebuilt, with archival photographs documenting the plant's historic history displayed. The entire area was additionally illuminated.
