Rosolis

The name Rosolis comes from the Latin „ros solis”, meaning dew of the sun, and also from the leaves of the insectivorous sundew, which were added to the first recipes and emitted shiny drops of sticky liquid resembling dewdrops. These tinctures were considered not only as medicines but also as exquisite delicacies, and the Rosolis recipe came to Poland in the 17th century. Rosolis produced today is made on the basis of attic recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation at the Polmos Łańcut Vodka Factory.
